  Summary:  Huda Beauty is seeking an experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Manager Consultant to lead the setup, configuration, and successful internal adoption of a new DAM system.
This role will be responsible for translating our creative, product, marketing, and e-commerce workflows into a scalable DAM structure that supports global teams and ensures seamless asset storage, governance, retrieval, and distribution.
The ideal consultant has proven experience implementing DAM platforms (Acquia or similar), understands creative operations for beauty or lifestyle brands, and can guide cross-functional teams through best practices, taxonomy design, and long-term governance.
Please note that this role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :  Lead the end-to-end setup and implementation of the new DAM system (Acquia) for Huda Beauty.
Develop a scalable metadata schema, taxonomy, and folder structure tailored to our creative and marketing workflow.
Audit all existing Huda Beauty assets (photo, video, 3D/CGI, packaging, ecommerce, social, campaign) and define migration strategy.
Establish governance rules, naming conventions, tagging standards, version control processes and user permissions.
Collaborate with Creative, Social, Product Development, E-Com, PR, Marketing, and Legal teams to understand asset needs and ensure the system supports all use cases.
Manage the integration of the DAM with existing tools (e.
g., project management, cloud servers, e-commerce platforms, Adobe CC).
Create documentation including workflows, user guides, and governance manuals.
Deliver internal onboarding, training sessions, and team workshops to ensure smooth adoption.
Ensure the DAM is scalable and future-proof for new content types, product categories, and campaign volumes.
Support Quality Assurance during testing phases and provide recommendations for optimization.
Provide continued advisory during the transition period and handover.
Develop standardized naming conventions and file governance documentation.

  8+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management, Creative Operations, or related field.
Proven track record of implementing or re-architecting DAM systems for consumer brands (beauty/fashion/luxury preferred).
Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy frameworks, rights management, and content lifecycle workflows.
Expertise with major DAM platforms (e.
g. Acquia or equivalent).
Familiarity with creative production pipelines (photo/video shoots, post-production, retouching, CGI, campaign rollout).
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and managing change within creative organizations.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to analyse and optimize complex asset ecosystems.
Understanding of beauty industry campaign workflows.
Experience working with high-volume e-commerce and social content pipelines.
Knowledge of API integrations or basic technical requirements for connecting tools.
Ability to train non-technical teams and drive adoption.
