Organization Unit Purpose
- The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit provides a full-featured product suite covering Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management and Payment Solutions which enables clients to optimize their working capital and also build efficiency and automation in their day-to-day business operations.
- TBS provides an integrated single window approach for all transactional requirements of its corporate clientele across various segments and sectors such as commercial, government and financial institutions. It aims at assisting them with innovative financing and payment solutions as well as offers the convenience of interacting with the bank, away from traditional means.
- The Transaction Banking team continuously interacts with CFO’s and Treasury Teams of its corporate clients and is committed to build strong relationships by meeting their underlying organizational objectives.
Job Purpose
To Scope and drive new/ additional cash management business opportunity leveraging acquiring products along with the Coverage Relationship for respective Business Group with an objective to grow the CASA books and generate additional revenue streams for the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge to recommend and promote Merchant acquiring solutions to existing and new to bank clients
- Actively contributeto acquiring product strategy roadmap ensuring alignment with Wholesale Banking strategic goals.
- Conduct active coverage engagement to identify sector and client specific opportunities to cross sell acquiring solutions
- Champion data-driven approaches and identify white spacing and cross sell opportunities
- Establishing the pricing strategy for commercial and strategic clients based on Interchange Assessment.
- Drive end to end global and regional cash management request for proposals for corporates clients
- Structure integrated cash management solutions, focusing on liquidity and reconciliation solutions, bringing efficiencies through ERP integrations, electronic banking & API connectivity
- Conduct periodic training and product familiarization for RM empowerment
- Continuously seek opportunities to simplify the new product approval processes and framework.
- Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory trends, and client feedback to adapt the payments roadmap proactively.
- Keep abreast of new technology disrupting payments and acquiring space
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance or Technology
Experiences
- 10 years of product experience in Transaction Banking / Cash Management / Payments.
- Strong knowledge of scheme framework and onboarding guidelines
- Hands-on experience managing merchant acquiring products and related regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
