About The Job

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage Department, The Seasonal Waiter/Waitress is responsible for ensuring that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi. The Seasonal Waiter/Waitress reports to the Assistant Banquet Manager.

As a Seasonal Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Set up stations and tables in accordance with Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards. Greet guests courteously and professionally, following the hotel’s service standards. Communicate effectively with guests, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Assist the Captain in presenting menus, making recommendations, and taking guest orders. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Maintain cleanliness and order at the buffet area, keeping it free of debris. Coordinate and assist in clearing tables and stations in a timely manner. Supervise and assist in the return of soiled linen. Support the kitchen team in clearing the buffet as required. Remain present and attentive in the restaurant during all service hours. Keep the Supervisor informed of any guest feedback, comments, or complaints. Attend departmental meetings, briefings, and training sessions as scheduled by the management team. Maintain a neat, clean uniform and ensure excellent personal grooming and hygiene in line with Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards. Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by your supervisor or manager as required.

As a Seasonal Waiter/Waitress, We Expect From You

Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred; resort experience will be a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Senior School qualification or equivalent will be an advantage.
