SearchPlus HR is excited to announce a vacancy for the position of Junior Consultant Neurologist within a reputable government healthcare facility.
This role is an invaluable opportunity for newly qualified neurologists to gain practical experience and contribute to public health initiatives while working in a state-of-the-art medical environment.
As a Junior Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions.
You will work closely with senior neurologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients while enhancing your skills in clinical practice and patient management.
Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed neurological assessments and gather comprehensive medical histories from patients Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including but not limited to strokes, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases Interpret results from diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs, to formulate treatment plans Collaborate with senior consultants in providing high-quality clinical care and making informed medical decisions Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventative care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare protocols and regulations Engage in continuous professional development and participate in training programs Contribute to community health initiatives and public awareness campaigns related to neurological health Private Health Insurance Training & Development Performance Bonus Completion of a residency in Neurology or equivalent training program Commitment to serving in a government healthcare setting and improving public health Basic understanding of neurological disorders and experience with clinical assessments Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams A collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care Prior clinical experience or internships in neurology preferred but not required Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
