Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team at the CMHS-UAEU, focusing on stem cell biology. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects related to stem cell culture, differentiation, and their applications in regenerative medicine and disease modelling. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering research in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, execute, and analyze experiments involving the culture, expansion, and differentiation of various types of stem cells (e.g., pluripotent, embryonic, mesenchymal). • Optimize stem cell culture protocols and develop new techniques for stem cell maintenance and differentiation. • Perform gene editing and molecular biology techniques, including CRISPR/Cas9, qPCR, Western blotting, and immunofluorescence. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore stem cell applications in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and disease modeling. • Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, data, and results, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. • Present findings at lab meetings, seminars, and international conferences, and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications. • Mentor graduate students and research assistants in stem cell-related techniques and methodologies. • Stay current with relevant scientific literature and developments in the field of stem cell research. Only those candidates selected for interview will be contacted. Applicants who do not receive notification within 2 months of the applying should assume that they have not been selected for interview.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Experience/Skills:
• Education: Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. • Experience: Proven experience in culturing and maintaining stem cells, including differentiation into specific lineages.
