Your impact
Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Graphic Designer to support the delivery of complex building and infrastructure projects based out of our office in Dubai. This role blends creative design and writing expertise with an understanding of architectural and engineering environments. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce high quality visual materials and reports that communicate project concepts, technical information, and design intent with clarity, precision, and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually compelling graphics, layouts, and presentations to support architectural, engineering, and project management teams.
- Create and maintain project branding, visual identities, and communication materials for large scale building and infrastructure projects.
- Produce high‑quality diagrams, infographics, renderings, and visual storytelling assets that simplify complex technical information.
- Support bid and commercial proposals, project reports, design submissions, and stakeholder presentations with professional visual design.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective visual outputs.
- Prepare digital and print‑ready materials, ensuring consistency with corporate brand guidelines and project standards.
- Assist in developing wayfinding concepts, signage packages, and environmental graphics when required.
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously often under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Maintain structured design files, templates, and asset libraries to support efficient workflow across multidisciplinary teams.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience working in architecture, engineering, construction, or large‑scale project environments is highly preferred.
- A strong portfolio showcasing design capability, particularly in technical, architectural, or built‑environment contexts.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, technical diagrams, and engineering information.
- Excellent visual communication, layout, composition, and typography skills.
- Creativity combined with the discipline to work within technical constraints and brand guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Familiarity with 3D or architectural visualization tools (SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or similar) is an advantage.
