About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Innovation & Sustainability Specialist to support the design, coordination, and implementation of sustainability- and innovation-driven initiatives across climate, food systems, and social impact programs. The role requires strong project management, partnership development, research coordination, and policy engagement skills, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.
This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in climate innovation, sustainable development, policy engagement, and multi-stakeholder collaboration
Key responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of innovation and sustainability initiatives aligned with organizational strategy Coordinate cross-functional and multi-country projects, ensuring timely delivery of outputs Manage and strengthen partnerships with governments, donors, research institutions, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders Contribute to policy engagement, evidence-based programming, and dissemination of research, policy briefs, and innovation outputs Support fundraising and proposal development, including donor coordination and reporting Lead or support outreach, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities to enhance program visibility and impact Track project progress, prepare reports, and support high-level meetings, events, and international forums Conduct research and analysis related to sustainability, climate resilience, food systems, and social innovation
Qualification:Master’s degree in Sustainable Development, Global Affairs, Public Policy, Innovation, or a related field Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in sustainability, innovation, development programs, or policy-related roles Demonstrated experience in project/program management and coordination Strong background in partnership development, donor engagement, and stakeholder relations Experience supporting climate, food security, agriculture, or social impact initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage) Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multicultural, and remote team environments
