PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:



The Techno-Functional Expert is responsible for bridging the gap between finance and technology functions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of financial processes and systems. This role combines technical expertise with deep understanding of finance operations to enhance system performance, enable business insights, and drive digital transformation within the Finance team while ensuring robust, scalable systems to support business objectives



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:




  1. PROFITS



  • Enhance financial analysis and reporting by customizing, automating, or integrating technology solutions with existing finance processes Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, or supports revenue growth Lead system upgrades that improve working capital management, forecasting, or transaction accuracy



  • PROCESS



  • Lead the configuration, integration, and ongoing support of ERP, consolidation, and reporting tools for finance. Troubleshoot, document, and resolve finance system issues, bugs, and escalations with the IT team Ensure documentation and training materials for systems and process changes are up to date and accessible to all users.



  • PATRONS/CUSTOMERS



  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance team and IT/vendors on system requirements, upgrades, and troubleshooting Ensure key stakeholders including management, audit, and external providers receive timely, accurate data and technical support Collaborate with end-users to ensure finance solutions meet business needs and compliance requirements



  • PEOPLE



  • Train and support finance staff on new systems, enhancements, and best practices. Foster a culture of process improvement, technical literacy, and cross-functional collaboration within the Finance team.


QUALIFICATION:




  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or certifications such as CPA/CMA/ACCA or technology certification is mandatory).


EXPERIENCE:




  • 5–8 years of techno-functional experience in finance or ERP/application support Hands-on experience with major ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar) Technical proficiency in data integration, report building, and process automation (SQL, scripting, system configuration) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


SKILLS:




  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence cross-functionally Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in treasury
