About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join the Colleagues’ Cafeteria at Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Lead and manage daily cafeteria operations
Produce and oversee 1,500 meals per day with consistency and quality
Lead, train, and motivate a team of 9 chefs
Plan, and execute monthly menu changes
Create and manage monthly special activations & live cooking stations
Showcase a strong passion for international cuisine
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and operational standards
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Possess experience as a Junior Sous Chef or a strong Sous Chef background in cafeteria or banquet operations.
Demonstrate the ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations effectively.
Showcase a creative mindset with strong international food knowledge.
Exhibit strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Display a hands-on, energetic, and solution-oriented attitude.
