Role Summary Time Training Center is seeking a highly experienced Subsea Installation & Marine Operations Instructor to deliver advanced, field-based training in offshore subsea installation and SURF operations. The ideal candidate must bring deep real-world offshore project experience and vessel-based installation exposure. This role focuses on practical subsea execution knowledge, marine operations planning, and deepwater installation methodologies rather than purely theoretical instruction.
Key Responsibilities Deliver instructor-led training in subsea installation and marine offshore operations. Teach practical installation methodologies for subsea templates, manifolds, umbilicals, flowlines, and risers. Provide training on SURF project execution and deepwater installation campaigns. Explain offshore installation workflows across HLV, PLSV, and DCV vessels. Deliver SIMOPS coordination and offshore interface management training. Conduct case-based training using real EPCI project scenarios. Teach offshore lift planning, rigging principles, and installation risk assessment. Demonstrate marine spread coordination and weather window planning. Develop practical exercises and scenario-based assessments. Prepare technical course materials aligned with offshore project realities. Mentor learners using real offshore case studies and lessons learned. Support curriculum development aligned with subsea industry demand.
Mandatory Experience Requirements15–20+ years experience in offshore subsea projects. Minimum 5+ years offshore field deployment. Direct involvement in real EPCI subsea projects. Hands-on installation campaign participation. Experience working onboard installation vessels. Not solely a classroom-based trainer background.
Required Vessel Experience Hands-on offshore experience onboard at least two of the following:Heavy Lift Vessels (HLV) Pipe Lay Support Vessels (PLSV) Diving Construction Vessels (DCV) Subsea Construction / IMR Vessels
Required Installation Experience Demonstrated real installation involvement in multiple of the following:Subsea templates Manifolds Umbilicals Flowlines Risers Deepwater installation campaigns (100m–1000m+) SURF project scope SIMOPS execution environments
Education (Preferred) MSc Offshore Engineering MSc Ocean Engineering Naval Architecture Marine Engineering Equivalent deep offshore field experience accepted
