Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer located in Abu Dhabi. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including preparing and issuing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role also involves sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure efficient purchasing decisions. Additional duties include analyzing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications Proficiency in Purchase Orders and Purchasing processes Experience with Contract Negotiation and Procurement strategies Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating supplier performance and identifying cost optimization opportunities Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining procurement records and monitoring supply chain efficiency Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Relevant educational qualifications in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience in spare parts trading or a related industry is a plus Familiarity with procurement software systems is desirable
