HSE Engineer – Interior Fit-Out Works (UAE)

About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Engineer to join our dynamic interior fit-out team.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and company policies, while fostering a culture of safety across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans specific to interior fit-out works.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, civil defense, and municipality requirements.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site staff.
- Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports to management and authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE roles, with at least 2 years in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international standards (ISO, OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project sites.
- Certification in NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent is mandatory.
