The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of Medical Representatives, Senior Medical Representatives, Product Specialists and Key Account Specialists, ensuring the effective execution of sales plans, customer engagement strategies, and operational excellence within the assigned territory.
The role focuses on developing key customer relationships, supporting sales targets, enhancing field effectiveness, and ensuring strong alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key hospitals and healthcare institutions within the UAE.
• Support the Sales Manager in executing sales growth strategies and action plans.
• Ensure consistent follow-up with high-volume customers to support long-term business growth.
• Guide and motivate field teams to complete assigned commercial activities effectively.
• Provide feedback from the field to assist management in strategic decision-making.
• Conduct regular market research to identify customer needs, trends, and new opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations and annual agreements with key customers.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) a.
Sales Execution & Territory Management o Ensure successful execution of all sales plans by guiding the field force on product knowledge and commercial execution.
o Regularly monitor team performance to ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
o Support the planning and coordination of customer visits, presentations, and product discussions.
o Ensure that the territory is adequately covered based on agreed action plans and business needs.
o Track prospection activities and ensure new customers are added to the market database.
b. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement o Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, pharmacists, purchasers, and hospital administrators.
o Support key account discussions, product listings, and formulary inclusion activities.
o Facilitate collaboration with internal teams to support customer events, educational programs, and product campaigns.
o Provide timely response to customer needs and escalate unresolved issues to the Sales Manager.
c. Team Leadership & Field Coaching o Supervise Product Specialists and Key Account Specialists, ensuring highquality field performance.
o Conduct regular field coaching, joint visits, and performance discussions with team members.
o Train staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and account management.
o Support the identification and development of high-potential talents within the team.
o Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
d. Operational Excellence o Ensure accurate and complete usage of the CRM by all team members and monitor activity logs.
o Track performance indicators, including coverage, frequency of visits, and achieved KPIs.
o Coordinate with marketing on pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.
o Collect market insights related to competition, pricing, new products, and customer needs.
o Assist in managing product expiries by following up on near-expiry stock movement.
e. Business Support & Compliance o Support payment collection efforts and ensure strong follow-up on outstanding receivables.
o Assist the Sales Manager in budget tracking, forecasting, and sales planning.
o Ensure adherence to company SOPs, compliance guidelines, and ethical standards.
o Contribute to process improvements that enhance customer communication and operational efficiency.
o Document performance, activities, and field insights accurately and share them regularly with management.
