Job Purpose:
Measures and monitors Performance KPI to support drilling operations performance to ensure delivering maximum value of efficiency, profitably and sustainability defining KPIs, proposing benchmarks, and action plan.
Key Accountabilities:
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Develops and monitors Drilling KPIs (i.e., ILT (invisible lost time), NPT(non Production time), Dry Hole. etc) by compiling performance data associated with drilling activities and produce comprehensive reports for performance improvement processes and plans.
- Participates the Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Performance Review presentation & Present Overall and Specific Drilling Performance Overview (i.e., Performance Review, Murban Drill OFF, IDS Performance, Performance Scorecard etc.
- Analyses drilling operations parameters and propose solutions / initiatives to identify areas of improvement and recommend best practices.
- Reviews and communicate drilling division achievements, lessons learned to support Operation teams and aligned towards achieving significantly exceed target.
- Participates in the Drilling performance reporting and Maintain database & Integrity by performing
- regular QA/QC(Quality assurance / Quality control) and Audits.
- Participates in the drive towards achieve operation excellence through cost saving initiatives (i.e.,
- Real Time Monitoring centre (RTOC), creative in technology implementation.
- Coordinates with RTOC, Data Management EDM (Engineering Data Model) System, Drilling &
- Stakeholders to identify and collect performance data and update benchmark database as required.
- Compiles and analyses management and shareholders drilling performance data
- Participates in enhancing the processes related to performance management and reporting and
- improve data quality

- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

- Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
- Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
Performance Management
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section
- in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in
- line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with the ADNOC Onshore/ ADNOC HSE procedure requirements
- Report all incident and occupational illness to line supervisor. If aware of any unsafe practice or condition, or if in any doubt about the safety of any situation, immediately consult their Line supervisor.
- Carryout the emergency responsibilities in line with the respective roles as per the emergency
- procedure.
- Be familiar with the ADNOC HSE Recognition and Accountability Framework requirements. Comply
- with all applicable HSE requirements at all times. Exercise the STOP Work Authority bestowed if any
- unsafe act or situation puts you or your colleagues at risk.
- Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Qualification, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 5 years of experience, including at least in oil and gas industry
