Overview of the Role
As a Branch Manager, you will lead the overall sales operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, achieving sales and gross margin targets, and maintaining high operational standards. You will be responsible for smooth showroom operations, effective manpower management, and upholding the company’s image within the local market.
What You Will Do
• Achieve and exceed branch unit sales, gross margin, and CSI targets.
• Ensure adherence to sales systems, prospecting processes, and the achievement of KPIs such as prospects logged, trade ins, accessories, and F&I product sales.
• Maintain sales standards across the branch to support customer satisfaction and strengthen the company’s brand reputation.
• Guide, motivate, and develop the branch team, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and aligned development plans.
• Monitor and enforce company procedures related to cash handling and credit control to minimize bad debts and ensure financial compliance.
• Oversee vehicle stock availability, showroom upkeep, and branch asset maintenance to project a premium brand image.
• Track competitor activities, analyze product comparisons, and share market intelligence with sales teams and management.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge of automotive technology, market trends, and customer handling skills.
• Ensure all QHSE and IMS requirements are fully implemented, including emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Support customer and associate engagement by ensuring timely resolution of complaints and maintaining service excellence.
Skills
Required Skills to Be Successful
• Minimum 9 years of experience in direct selling, preferably in the automotive sector. At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing sales teams.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities to manage and motivate a diverse sales team.
• Ability to maintain strong customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
About the Team
You will lead a dynamic team comprising Sales Managers, Showroom Supervisors, Sales Executives, and support staff. Working closely with the Dealer Principal and cross functional teams, you will shape the branch’s performance, culture, and customer experience. The environment is fast paced, collaborative, and driven by clear performance goals and customer centric values.
