SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Intensive Care to join the Public Sector healthcare services.
This role involves providing expert intensive care management to critically ill patients within public healthcare facilities.
As a Consultant Intensive Care in the public sector, you will be instrumental in delivering high standards of clinical care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall improvement of intensive care services.
The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans, oversee patient progress, and ensure compliance with public health policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in public sector intensive care units (ICUs) Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within public healthcare settings Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored for the public sector Monitor patient progress, interpret clinical data, and adjust treatment plans accordingly Ensure accurate and timely documentation following public health regulations and standards Participate in training, mentoring, and capacity-building initiatives for ICU staff Contribute to quality improvement projects and audits within the intensive care service Advocate for patient-centered care and ethical medical practices in public healthcare Benefits: - 30 Days Annual Leave (Paid).

Medical degree with specialization in Intensive Care Medicine Proven experience as a Consultant Intensive Care Physician, preferably within public sector healthcare Strong knowledge of public healthcare policies, standards, and resource management Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and resource-limited settings Excellent clinical decision-making and patient management skills Proficient in documentation and adherence to public sector regulatory requirements Commitment to continuous professional development and public health principles
