Job description:We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our design team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have hands-on UAE experience, excellent technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of municipality codes and design regulations
Key Responsibilities:Perform structural design and analysis for residential villas, G+8 buildings, mosques, and mixed-use developments. Prepare, review, and validate structural drawings, calculation reports, and technical documentation in compliance with UAE standards. Ensure all designs comply with Ajman, Sharjah Municipality regulations and UAE building codes. Coordinate effectively with architectural, MEP, and project management teams to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions. Conduct site inspections, design evaluations, and technical reviews to verify alignment with approved structural plans. Support in authority submissions, design approvals, and client meetings to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen, ensuring high-quality standards and accuracy.
Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred). Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of UAE experience in structural design and analysis, preferably within a consultancy environment. Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, PROKON, Auto CAD, and other relevant design software. Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of UAE building codes, authority submission procedures, and municipality design standards. Certifications:Valid UAE Driving License (required). Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) Card (required).
