Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Accounts or related with more than 10 years of experience in Accounting in the Oil & Gas Industry. Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is required. Supervise and ensure accurate recording, classification, and maintenance of all accounting transactions in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Oversee Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing, authorization checks, compliance verification, and resolution of discrepancies. Supervise Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, settlement follow‑ups, and maintenance of supporting records. Handle accounting related to crude oil sales, including verification of sales documents, accounting slips, and cost transfers to Head Office. Manage general ledger operations and ensure proper maintenance of accounting books in compliance with statutory requirements. Execute and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including account reconciliation and reporting. Manage VAT calculations, reporting, and submissions to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), including coordination with relevant authorities. Supervise Oracle ERP operations, including vendor coordination, system controls, upgrades, and audit support. Supervise accounting for inventories, materials, and stock, including reconciliation and coordination with relevant departments. Prepare and monitor accounting data for budget forecasting, cost control, and financial performance reporting. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and regulations Experience in financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting Budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis skills Strong understanding of ERP‑based accounting processes, including system controls, data integrity, and reporting accuracy Experience in contract review and expenditure verification, ensuring financial transactions align with approved contracts and agreements
