We are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join us at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on a 12-month freelance contract.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic environment, supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to the smooth execution of day-to-day operations.
Role Overview This role is critical in ensuring efficient administrative and operational support across the team, with direct exposure to senior leadership and high-level coordination activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and resolve scheduling conflicts Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and departmental activities Maintain and update stakeholder and contact databases Prepare, organize, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations Support executive correspondence and prioritize communications effectively Track and coordinate executive approvals and signatory requirements Set up conference calls and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems
Technology & Tools Create documents, reports, spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point Create presentations in Power Point Demonstrated proficiencies with specific technologies e.g. Adobe Sign, Kiss Flow, Oracle, SAP, Share Point, etc.
What We’re Looking For Basic Qualifications5+ years of administrative support experience, ideally within a corporate or government environment Prior experience in office management is highly desirable
Core Skills Proactive and initiates projects, accepting of new assignments and challenges Manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines Capacity to multi-task, prioritize work load and effectively manage time Lead by example regarding efficient work habits and professional behavior Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Work effectively as part of a team and lead a team when required, yet be able to work independently with minimal supervision Perform all tasks with attention to detail and review for accuracy. Maintain courteous, professional manner in person and on the phone. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, Power Point)
