Role Overview:
The Pattern Master Supervisor leads all pattern development, fit engineering, and technical execution across collections for Carter & White. This role ensures premium/luxury standards in fit, construction, and garment quality, while executing all activities in full alignment with the direction and timelines set by the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead creation, correction, and finalization of patterns in line with production priorities Ensure superior fit, balance, and consistency across all products Translate Production Manager directives into clear technical actions Supervise and instruct Pattern Masters, Cutting Master, and Grading Master Guide and oversee tailors during sampling and bulk production Ensure accurate execution of garments according to approved patterns Coordinate closely with the QC team; define and enforce fit and construction standards Ensure all garments meet premium/luxury quality benchmarks before approval Maintain continuous communication with the Production Manager on progress, risks, and technical challenges Ensure readiness for bulk production within agreed timelines Maintain pattern documentation, version control, and technical accuracy Drive process improvements to support efficiency and quality
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in pattern making within premium or luxury garment production Proven experience managing technical teams in a factory environment Mastery of manual and digital pattern making Strong knowledge of garment construction, grading, and fabric behavior Excellent fit evaluation and troubleshooting skills Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills Ability to work within a structured, production-led environment Fluent English is mandatory and Indian language is addition
