Job description
- Deliver thorough, independent, and complete cost estimation for the tenders
- Collect all relevant / needed information from the production engineer, designing engineer, Tender manager, and /or from site visits
- Process all gathered data into clear optimal budgets and cost estimates including a planning and work sequencing
- Regular consult with colleagues, from the commercial department and the project manager about cost
- Come up creative and innovative ideas / alternatives in order ensure a competitive cost estimation and efficient work plan
- Assess proposal. prices of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Ensure gathered data and budget information is maintained and knowledge is transferred to project management and commercial department
- Assist in preparing tender / quotation documents for tendering purposes
- Ensure maintenance of database which contains prices / quotes from sub-contractors
- Closely collaborate with production engineer, colleagues from the commercial department and tender manager
- Study and analyse of Bids / Tenders technical and commercially, write scope clarification
- Identify Risks, opportunities & assumptions made within the cost estimates
- Technical skills with thorough knowledge of estimation principals
