Roles & Responsibilities

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior role manages all site-based teams, subcontractors, and resources across villa and building construction projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.

• Manage and direct site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to meet construction programme milestones.

• Coordinate with technical, design, QAQC, and survey teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Monitor construction progress against baseline programme and implement corrective actions as required.

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.

• Manage material deliveries, plant, and equipment resources to prevent construction delays.

• Conduct regular site progress meetings with client representatives and consultant teams.

• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and ITP compliance on site.

• Prepare and submit site progress reports to senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• 12–18 years of construction experience including 5+ years in a Construction Manager role with a Tier 1 UAE contractor.

• 2–5 years of direct experience on villa and/or building construction projects in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, HSE standards (OSHAD/TRAKHEES/DM), and quality requirements.

• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage large, diverse on-site teams.

• Proficiency in construction programme management (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
