Roles & Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. HRBP supports functions such as R&D, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams, ensuring talent, compliance, and culture enable business success.
1. Strategic HR Partnership
Partner with senior leaders (e.g., R&D, Quality) to develop workforce strategies
Align HR plans with business objectives, including expansion, product launches, and market entry
Drive organizational design and change management initiatives
2. Talent Management & Workforce Planning
Identify talent gaps in specialized roles
Support succession planning and leadership development
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies for niche pharma roles
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues
Foster a high-performance, compliant, and ethical culture
Lead engagement initiatives and interpret employee feedback
4. Performance & Development
Implement performance management processes
Coach managers on feedback, goal setting, and development plans
Support capability-building programs, especially for technical teams
5. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment
Ensure HR policies comply with pharmaceutical regulations and labor laws
Support audits and inspections related to HR practices
Promote adherence to ethical standards and codes

Lead HR aspects of transformations such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring
Support organizational readiness for new product pipelines or regulatory changes
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred
Experience
5-8+ years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years as an HRBP
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong business acumen and understanding of pharma value chain
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Data-driven decision-making (HR analytics)
High level of confidentiality and ethical judgment
