Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage PR to PO conversion ensuring timely processing of purchase requisitions
• Coordinate with vendors for expediting deliveries to avoid plant downtime
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical materials and consumables
• Conduct price negotiations and benchmarking to ensure cost efficiency
• Prepare Technical & Commercial Comparison Statements (TCS) for vendor selection
• Handle procurement of raw materials, consumables, and capital equipment
• Ensure compliance with import/export documentation (LC, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin)
• Work closely with plant teams and global vendors for seamless operations
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (SAP MM – S/4 HANA)

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management
• Certifications like CPSM or CIPS (Level 4) will be an added advantage
• Prior experience in Ferroalloys, Steel, or Mining industry preferred
• Hands-on exposure to procurement of raw materials, consumables, and capex equipment
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 (CIF, FOB, DDP)
• Expertise in SAP MM (S/4 HANA)
• Understanding of international logistics & documentation
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
