Job Summary:The Supervisor – Curriculum Specialist (English) leads the development, review, and improvement of English curriculum and teaching resources. The role ensures curriculum standards are aligned with educational goals, supports teachers in effective delivery, and promotes high-quality learning outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise the planning, development, and review of English curriculum content. Ensure curriculum aligns with national and organizational education standards. Develop teaching materials, lesson frameworks, and assessment tools. Support and guide teachers on curriculum implementation and best teaching practices. Monitor curriculum effectiveness and recommend improvements based on student performance. Lead curriculum projects, workshops, and training sessions for academic staff. Coordinate with school leaders, teachers, and subject specialists on curriculum needs. Review new teaching methods, resources, and educational trends in English learning. Prepare reports and recommendations related to curriculum development and academic quality. Ensure consistency of English curriculum delivery across campuses/schools.
Qualifications:Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, Curriculum Development, or related field. Teaching qualification / educational certification preferred.
Experience:5-7 years of experience in English teaching, curriculum development, or academic leadership. Experience in curriculum design and supervising academic teams is preferred. Skills:Strong knowledge of English curriculum standards and teaching methodologies. Leadership and team management skills. Curriculum planning and assessment design. Strong communication and presentation skills. Research, analysis, and report writing skills. Ability to lead training and professional development initiatives.
