Role Description The Cybersecurity Governance Manager at ADCB will lead the development, implementation, and management of cybersecurity governance frameworks and standards. Responsibilities include overseeing cybersecurity policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and managing risk assessments. The role involves developing strategies to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, collaborating with internal stakeholders for effective policy execution, and leading audits and incident response initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications Experience with cybersecurity governance frameworks, compliance standards, and risk assessment methodologies Proficiency in developing and managing cybersecurity policies, processes, and guidelines Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to information security Project management and team leadership skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams Problem-solving, strategic planning, and analytical thinking capabilities Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, CRISC, or equivalent Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as threat intelligence platforms, intrusion detection, and incident management systems Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field Proficient oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences Experience in the financial sector or similar highly regulated industries is a plus
