Execute precise stainless steel welding using various techniques based on blueprints and specifications, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
Perform thorough pre-weld preparations, including material cleaning, edge preparation, and fit-up, to minimize defects and optimize weld performance.
Conduct regular inspections of welds, utilizing visual and NDT methods to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to accurately fabricate and assemble components and structures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
Holds a valid welding certification (AWS, ASME) specific to stainless steel, showcasing professional competence.
Demonstrates 0-3+ years of hands-on experience in stainless steel welding within the manufacturing or construction industry, exhibiting practical expertise.
Exhibits a strong preference for candidates with experience in the oil and gas or aerospace sectors, indicating industry specialization.
