Key Responsibilities-\r\n\r\n1. Commissioning Strategy & Planning-\r\n\u2022Develop and execute the overall precommissioning and commissioning strategy for the new gas processing plant, ensuring alignment with project schedule and client requirements (TotalEnergies standards).\r\n\u2022Define system and subsystem breakdown (systemization) for phased handover from construction to commissioning and then to operations.\r\n\u2022Prepare, review, and approve commissioning procedures, test plans, and ITR (Installation Test Record) packages.\r\n\r\n2. Team Leadership & Management-\r\n\u2022Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary commissioning team including engineers, supervisors, and technicians across instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and process disciplines.\r\n\u2022Coordinate with construction, operations (FOPS), and client representatives to ensure seamless interfaces and clear line of responsibility.\r\n\u2022Manage mobilization and demobilization of commissioning personnel to\/from site (Iraq\/UAE).\r\n\u2022Safety & Compliance\r\n\u2022Ensure all commissioning activities are executed in full compliance with project HSE requirements, including TotalEnergies Golden Rules, Permit to Work (PTW), and Life Saving Rules.\r\n\u2022Lead toolbox talks, safety walkdowns, and incident investigations as required.\r\n\u2022Enforce strict adherence to isolation (LOTO) procedures and barrier management during live commissioning.\r\n\r\n4. Execution & Technical Oversight-\r\n\u2022Oversee precommissioning activities including cleaning, flushing, pneumatic testing, and loop checks.\r\n\u2022Lead the execution of commissioning activities for major systems: Utilities (IA, N2, power), Process (gas inlet, amine, dew point control), ESD\/F&G, and ICSS.\r\n\u2022Manage the punch list process, ensuring all outstanding items are closed before system handover.\r\n\u2022Coordinate with vendors for SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) of key equipment (e.g., compressors, control systems).\r\n\r\n5. Interface & Stakeholder Management-\r\n\u2022Act as the primary technical interface between EPC contractor, client (TotalEnergies), operations team, and vendors during the commissioning phase.\r\n\u2022Facilitate client walkdowns, system acceptance, and punch list reviews.\r\n\u2022Resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate with engineering for any design modifications identified during commissioning.<\/p>

Qualifications & Education-\r\n\u2022Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\r\n\u2022Training in TotalEnergies OPERCOM\u2122 methodology is an advantage.\r\n\r\nExperience-\r\n\u2022Minimum 6 to 10 years of experienceas commissioning lead or commissioning manager in oil & gas, pipeline, or EPC projects.\r\n\u2022More experience with gas processing plants.\"\r\n\u2022Proven experience working on projects under international clients (e.g., TotalEnergies, ADNOC, Shell, Saudi Aramco).\r\n\u2022Familiarity with ICAPS database setup, configuration, and user management.\r\n\u2022Familiarity with commissioning, pre-commissioning, and handover processes.\r\n\u2022Experience in multinational or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.\r\n\r\nTechnical Competencies-\r\n\u2022Advanced proficiency in ICAPS software (administration, reporting, data migration).\r\n\u2022Strong understanding of commissioning workflows, test packages, and preservation management.\r\n\u2022Knowledge of OPERCOM\u2122 methodology and TotalEnergies commissioning standards.\r\n\u2022Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.\r\n\u2022Basic understanding of P&IDs, loop diagrams, and system boundaries.\r\n\u2022Familiarity with database management principles and data integrity controls.\r\n\r\nWorking Schedule-\r\n\u2022Site-based role requiring travel to project locations (Iraq \/ Middle East).\r\n\u2022May require working in remote or challenging environments.\r\n\u2022Compliance with strict safety and operational standards.\r\n\u2022Rotation schedule may apply based on project requirements.<\/p>
