Role Summary This is a mid-level design management role for an architect or design professional with strong coordination ability, sound design judgement and a clear understanding of developer-side priorities. The Design Manager supports the studio in managing consultant output, internal reviews, project information and design deliverables while maintaining design quality, commercial alignment and clarity of communication. Key Responsibilities•Coordinate design packages, consultant submissions, comments, actions and follow-ups across assigned projects.•Review drawings, reports and presentations for design intent, brief alignment, planning logic, coordination and obvious technical issues.•Liaise with external consultants to clarify requirements, track responses and ensure design issues are closed out properly.•Work closely with designers, senior managers and leadership to ensure project material is accurate, current and review-ready.•Track deadlines, submission dates, key meetings, dependencies and decisions affecting design progress.•Support the review of area schedules, efficiency, product mix, planning assumptions and design implications against approved parameters.•Prepare concise status notes, design comments, meeting outputs and presentation material for internal and stakeholder review.•Help maintain consistency in studio output, consultant deliverables, document control and design communication. Required Experience and Capability•5–10 years of experience in architecture, design coordination, design management or a related developer / consultant role.•Architectural qualification or equivalent built-environment
