About the job STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our EPC project team supporting ADNOC Onshore operations in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering structural engineering design, analysis, and on-site support across all phases of the project lifecycle, from FEED through to commissioning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural analysis and design using STAAD Pro for onshore oil & gas facilities including process platforms, pipe racks, equipment foundations, and buildings.
- Prepare and review structural engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, specifications, and material take-offs (MTOs).
- Carry out foundation design for static and dynamic equipment in accordance with ADNOC standards and international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, IS).
- Coordinate with civil, process, piping, and mechanical disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and provide construction support, responding to RFIs and technical queries.
- Review vendor drawings and third-party documents for structural compliance.
- Ensure all designs meet ADNOC project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable codes.
- Support preparation of ITB documents, technical bid evaluations, and engineering schedules.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their calculations and deliverables.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5–8 years of structural engineering experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
- Proficient in STAAD Pro – mandatory requirement.
- Working knowledge of CAESAR II, AutoCAD, and/or PDMS/E3D is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of international design codes: ACI 318, AISC 360, BS 8110, IS 456, API standards.
- Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards and specifications is highly desirable.
- Experience in onshore brownfield and greenfield projects in the GCC preferred.
