Talent pool – quantity surveyor supporting buildings, villas, mixed-use developments, and theme park projects across the Middle East
Ensuring effective cost management and contractual compliance.
Prepares and manages BOQs, measurements, valuations, and variations while assessing contractor claims and supporting procurement activities. Provides cost reporting, commercial analysis, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations.
Confirms the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
Collaborate with suitable contractors for smooth advancement of a project.
Implement the best practices to approach and finish a construction project as per the set economic plan.
Form fruitful connections with technical and non-technical staff.
Infrastructure consultant experience is a must.
Evaluate, calculate, and update released quantity.
Prepare quantities and develop a quantity tracking sheet based on project BOQs.
Work collaboratively with site managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with site(s) to get details of executed quantity.
Ability to write detailed and concise reports and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and others.
Informs themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures within the company and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor in quantity surveying, engineering, or cost engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in contracts management including overall responsibility for contract management on large-scale projects.
- Preferably a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – MRICS or MSc.
- Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner.
- Ensuring a high standard of technical delivery with excellent communication skills.
- Experience of providing procurement advice, tender documentation, and post-contract services.
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritizing workloads and delivering deadlines.
- A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic, and ambitious.
- The ability to deliver in a reactive environment, responding quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Experience of working internationally (preference GCC experience).
