Job description
Talent pool – construction inspector (architectural) supporting buildings, villas, mixed-use developments, and theme park projects across the Middle East, ensuring compliance with architectural design intent, specifications, and quality standards. Conducts site inspections of finishes, façade works, and interior elements to verify workmanship, materials, and adherence to approved drawings and project requirements.
Coordinates with contractors and project teams to resolve site issues, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant architectural delivery.
Monitor activities that will assure that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
Conduct regular surveillance of site work against documented processes.
Conduct review of work pack documentation and validate test data as meeting specified requirements and/or within tolerance.
Ensuring incorporated materials on projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
Attend as the company nominated representative for discipline witness and monitor intervention points on site construction ITPs.
Produce formal reports of inspection carried out on the site.
Monitor contractor works and provide data, reports, and inputs to management as required.
Liaise with the company and contractor quality personnel to ensure requirements for client representation at hold, witness, and test points are understood.
Provide quality representation at toolbox talks and promote right first time approach.
Informs themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures within the company and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university.
Minimum 8 years work experience on large-scale projects; supervision consultant or main contractor experience is essential.
Computer literate, required to use email, Excel, and Word to compile, produce, monitor, and interpret operational data and reports.
Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Possess the ability to supervise effectively, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
Must demonstrate a flexible approach to operational requirements in order to meet business objectives.
Must demonstrate a flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
Experience of working internationally, preference given to GCC experience.
