Job Details

Project manager overseeing delivery of buildings, villas, mixed-use developments, and theme park projects across the Middle East

Ensures alignment with client requirements and project objectives. Manages day-to-day execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contractors on site.

Drives progress monitoring, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution, ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with contractual and technical standards.

Leads the management of the design work and construction activities during and to complete the project.

Develops the project responsibility matrix (PRM).

Prepares special reports to client management to investigate any problem related to the scope of services and recommend solutions.

Identifies priorities and tasks and develops the organization structure to assure execution of tasks by providing clear direction on methods, time frame, and schedule to achieve the stated goals.

Attends coordination meetings, progress meetings, and executive meetings.

Monitors performance to assure successful delivery of the key performance indicators and client contractual requirements.

Advises the director on any potential variation to the design/supervision consultant and contractor's scope of work that may generate cost or time impact and presents the project management's assessment.

Reviews weekly and monthly reports as presented by design/supervision consultants and contractors and presents to the client comments of non-compliance, areas of concern, and corrective actions.

Oversees all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project; monitors and coordinates work performed by architectural, engineering, and construction departments.

Informs themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures in place within the company, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed.

Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 15 or more years of working on complex projects end-to-end within the construction field.
  • Experience in report writing.
  • Experience in contractual administration.
  • Must have on-site project experience from initial design through to handover and completion.
  • Adequate work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities, and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues.
  • Familiar with design (space and functional analysis, operators/client liaison, cross-disciplinary issues/coordination, construction interfaces, programming, cost, etc.).
  • Strong management of large teams and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates determination, desire to succeed, and a wish to progress and develop within a commercial role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, and strong user skill level within MS Office or Primavera.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills.
  • Experience of working internationally, with preference for GCC experience.
