As a Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a range of advanced diagnostic and surgical interventions, managing patient care from initial consultation through to post-operative recovery.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment and excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient consultations, medical history analysis, and physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic procedures including colonoscopy and imaging.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, combining surgical and non-surgical options.
Perform complex colorectal surgical procedures, utilizing minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.
Educate patients and their families about colorectal diseases, treatment options, and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation in compliance with private healthcare standards.
Stay updated with advances and best practices in colorectal surgery through continuous professional development.
Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics and maintain patient confidentiality.

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid license to practice medicine.
Completion of residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Proven experience in surgical management of colorectal conditions in a private healthcare setting preferred.
Expertise in performing complex colorectal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction.
