Job Summary:
As a Sales Manager, you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans.
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing assigned market segments and accounts, implementing sales strategies, and maximizing business opportunities across All segments. The role requires a strong understanding of resort-style operations, rate strategy, and proactive account management
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of the assigned account portfolio, maintaining relationships at all relevant levels
• Maintain up-to-date account profiles, contracted rates, and activity logs in Opera/Thynk CRM.
• Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
• Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business in connection with the properties.
• Prepare and negotiate rates for transient, group, and wholesale business in line with approved rate strategy and yielding guidelines.
• Promote and produce sales leads for Rotana within its respective areas.
• Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in its market areas
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements within the Ras Al Khaimah and UAE resort comp-set.
• Provide timely feedback on changing market conditions, including demand patterns, distribution shifts, and client feedback
• Coordinate closely with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of confirmed business.
• Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist Superiors in maintaining the accounts management system.
• Proactively source new business for The Hotel through sales calls, site inspections, roadshows, trade shows, and networking activities
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible.
• Track account performance versus targets and provide regular updates on production, pipeline, and conversion. Ensure all activities, leads, and confirmations are accurately reflected in CRM and sales reports.
