Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Planning Engineer – MEP Construction to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for multiple MEP construction projects while ensuring timely project delivery, effective resource utilization, and coordination with all stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop, monitor, and update detailed MEP project schedules using Primavera P6.
    • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
    • Manage planning activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules.
    • Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and resource utilization to ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines.
    • Prepare and maintain planning documentation including baseline schedules, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules.
    • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and client submission.
    • Analyze project delays and support the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims related to MEP scope.
    • Track critical activities and recommend corrective actions to mitigate project risks and delays.
    • Support project teams in forecasting and productivity analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements.

Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP planning within the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and project lifecycle management.
    • Proven experience handling planning activities for multiple construction projects.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
