We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in planning, scheduling, and monitoring offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery under ADNOC offshore standards. Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules to support offshore oil and gas operations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address scheduling challenges.
- Monitor project progress and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and ADNOC stakeholders.
- Utilize industry-standard planning software to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC offshore policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to integrate activities effectively.
- Lead planning meetings and provide technical guidance to junior planning engineers.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and project outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering) or relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning within the oil and gas offshore industry, with specific exposure to ADNOC projects.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and offshore oil and gas operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards related to offshore projects.
- Willingness to work in island/offshore locations with flexibility and adaptability.
- Professional certifications in project management or planning (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) are advantageous.
