Job Summary
- Develop and progress packaging solutions for New Product Development projects, ensuring packaging is fit for purpose (by completing testing and trials) as well as delivering solutions which delights consumer.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To support the launch of new products, following R&D plan and interacting in teams with Sales, Marketing, Production and Quality representatives.
- To identify cost saving opportunities for the packaging material and implement across the packaging portfolio.
- Qualification of packaging material with the coordination of production, Quality and warehouse team.
- End-to-end project management for packaging development projects.
- Define quality parameters of packaging material and prepare specifications accordingly.
- Conduct trials for the new packaging development, Value-engineering, Machine Modifications for packaging material.
- Finding alternate sustainable packaging solutions to support sustainable ambition of IFFCO group.
- Handle customer complaints related to packaging and to provide solutions in coordination with production team, lab technician as support of Sales department.
- To Lead the artwork approval system in coordination with all internal stakeholders.
- To manage good technical data records-project data, artworks, trial reports.
- Participation in exhibitions and conferences for the packaging of flour products and developing and understanding new developments in packaging & latest technology.
- Adherence to IFFCO HSE Policy.
- Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO’s vision & values.

Work experience requirement
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing sector.
- FMCG experience preferably in WMS environment.
- Working knowledge of key packaging technology areas, development processes, packaging testing with decent knowledge of machinery interface.
Qualification
- Post Graduation/Graduation in Packaging Technology (Preferably from IIP or any other equivalent institute)
