JOB TITLE: PERFORMANCE COACH

Contract role based in Abu Dhabi for 12 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The duty cycle shall be 28 days on duty and 28 days off duty. Rig site

  
  

• Available for rig floor monitoring, guidance & mentoring.

  
  

• Supervision of BHA make up.

  
  

• Additional supervision while the DSV’s are dealing with Logistics and office requirements.

  
  

• Mentoring and training of drillers, ADs & rigmanagers in good oilfield practices.

  
  

• HSE monitoring of crews.

  
  

• Assisting rigmanagers to line up and execute activities. i.e. double check all planning, Xo’s and ensuring permits are in order before any activity.

  
  

• Watching and checking all activities like pipe tallies (DP and casing) and maintenance around the rig.

  
  

• Manage the PADSB rented drill pipe.

  
  

• Manage and teach the rig crews with unconventional well drilling practices (performance hz directional drilling, mud conditioning, stuck pipe avoidance, cuttings handling, etc).

  
  

• Rig move optimization tasks like number of trucks, loading order, work with contractor for placement at the next site, etc.

  
  

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Degree in Engineering with Min. 15 years experience in the Drilling industry, out of which 5 years as an Onshore night Drilling Supervisor/drilling supervisor.

  
  

• He/ She must have exposure to drilling of horizontal wells, Well complication, and DST and must have valid IWCF level IV (Surface – Supervisor) Certification.

  
  

• He should have undergone First Aid Training and Firefighting Training. Skills in English and the local language are essential. Knowledge of HSE standards is essential.

  
  

• Preference would be given to candidates with UAE / Middle East Experience.

  
  

• Candidate must have good knowledge of the rules and regulations of Oil and Gas well drilling
