We are looking for a Specification Manager who gets our products written into projects before the tender is ever issued - someone who lives inside the consultant, developer, and design community. Client Details Our client is a UAE-based manufacturer and supplier specializing in decorative surface materials such as laminates, veneer, MDF, and plywood, primarily serving interiors and construction projects. It offers sourcing, distribution, and design-driven solutions for furniture makers, architects, and designers to enhance the look and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Description * Drive product specification across consultants, developers, interior designers, and architects - getting our products written into project documents early and decisively. * Build and protect a project pipeline, tracking opportunities from concept and design stage through to award. * Develop deep, trusted relationships across the A&D and developer community, becoming their go-to specification partner. * Work hand in hand with the sales team to convert specified projects into orders and protect the spec against substitution. * Map key projects across the UAE, identify decision-makers, and position our portfolio at the point of influence. * Deliver clear project reporting, specification tracking, and live market intelligence on upcoming developments. * 7+ years of experience in specification and project-based business development. * Strong, active connections with consultants, developers, interior designers, and architects - must have. * A proven ability to influence specifications and steer projects from design stage to award. * Valid driving license and full readiness to travel across the territory. * A self-starter who works independently, owns the pipeline, and thrives on long-cycle, relationship-led wins.
