At InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay & Kimpton Sevn Dubai, we are seeking a Cluster Assistant Chief Steward to support and elevate stewarding operations across two distinctive luxury and lifestyle brands.
This role is designed for a highly organized, quality-driven, and operationally hands-on leader who understands that exceptional culinary experiences rely on spotless kitchens, efficient support systems, and well-coordinated stewarding operations—ensuring every restaurant, bar, banquet, and in-room dining experience is supported by the highest standards of cleanliness and operational readiness.

The cluster combines the refined residential luxury of InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay with the bold, lifestyle-driven energy of Kimpton Sevn Dubai. Each property has unique culinary experiences, yet both demand consistency in hygiene, kitchen operations support, and stewarding excellence.
You will play a critical role in ensuring back-of-house operations run smoothly every day—supporting the Cluster Chief Steward in maintaining exceptional standards across both properties.

Be the Operational Partner Behind Culinary Excellence
You will work closely with the Cluster Chief Steward while supporting stewarding colleagues across both properties and collaborating with Culinary, Restaurants & Bars, Engineering, and Hygiene teams.
From restaurant service support and banquet operations to kitchen sanitation, waste management, and equipment readiness, you will help ensure every back-of-house operation supports seamless guest-facing experiences.

The Gig
Reporting to the Cluster Chief Steward, the Cluster Assistant Chief Steward will support stewarding operations for InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay and Kimpton Sevn Dubai.

You will be accountable for supporting hygiene standards, stewarding team performance, equipment readiness, and daily back-of-house operational efficiency across the cluster.

Your Day-to-Day
No two days are the same; your responsibilities will span a range of operational and leadership activities, including but not limited to:
Stewarding Operations & Standards
• Support the implementation of cluster-wide stewarding SOPs and hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and local regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchens, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Maintain cleanliness standards aligned with brand expectations
Operational Excellence
• Supervise daily stewarding operations across restaurants, bars, banquets, and IRD
• Ensure dishwashing operations, waste management, and cleaning schedules are executed effectively
• Monitor chemical usage, equipment condition, and stewarding inventory levels
• Support kitchen readiness during service periods and peak operational demand
Team Leadership & Development
• Assist in leading, coaching, and developing stewarding colleagues across both properties
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
• Support training initiatives focused on hygiene, safety, and equipment handling
• Assist with scheduling and workforce deployment to support operational needs
Support to Culinary & Service Teams
• Work closely with chefs and F&B leaders to ensure smooth operational support
• Assist banquet and event operations through effective stewarding coordination
• Ensure the timely availability of clean equipment, utensils, and service ware
• Support the resolution of operational challenges impacting service delivery
Pre-Opening Stewarding Excellence (Kimpton Sevn Dubai)
• Support recruitment and onboarding of stewarding colleagues
• Assist in implementing stewarding systems, workflows, and SOPs
• Help prepare kitchens and BOH areas for operational readiness
• Participate in trial operations and mock service exercises
Inventory & Cost Control
• Support inventory management of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment
• Assist in monitoring operational expenses and reducing waste
• Promote responsible use of resources and equipment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Culinary, Engineering, Hygiene, and F&B Operations teams
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Contribute to initiatives that improve workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness

What We Need From You
Ideally, you bring some (or all) of the following qualifications and experience:
Education
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Experience
• 4–7 years of progressive stewarding or kitchen operations experience in luxury hotels
• Supervisory experience within stewarding operations preferred
