About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all accounts

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports

• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and internal financial policies

• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement efficiencies

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

• Prepare tax filings and support regulatory reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines

• Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
