Job Details

The Ticketing Unit Head leads and manages the smooth daily operations relating to ticketing and cash control activities within the museum. Develops unit medium and long terms ticketing goals, methods, policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and creates plans as and when needed. Reviews units progress and status analytical reports on department activities (including daily cash reconciliation and attendance reports) and advises and makes recommendations for further actions to staff and Sales Manager. Reviews creation and implementation of new ticketing products, events and pricing by coordinating with the required departments to ensure correct promotions are made available to visitors. Ensures appropriate training sessions with ticketing agents for all point of sales (POS). Ensures that members of the team and third party providers adhere to SOPs. Identifies the system requirements and issues to ensure ticketing processes are performed efficiently and costed effectively, in coordination with IT Department and software developers. Supervises the management of cash flow and revenue reconciliation through daily reporting and maintain financial files. Ensures operational excellence in achieving KPI’s, working towards establishing a sustainable financial and operational model by achieving any set financial targets and driving internal process improvement and efficiency. As a brand ambassador the role holder will consider the customer prospective in all projects - working to understand and manage all stakeholders. As a leader the role holder will create learning opportunities by collaboration, transfer of knowledge, or developing employees in the respective area, that drive employee engagement and growth across the museum.
