- Lead and inspire the Biology department, fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and academic excellence.
- Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging Biology curriculum aligned with national and international standards.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and resources, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Manage and mentor Biology faculty, providing professional development opportunities and conducting performance evaluations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possess a Bachelors and Masters degree in Botany/Zoology and B.Ed in Natural Science
Hold a recognized teaching qualification and relevant professional certifications in science education.
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in teaching and leading a science department, preferably in a secondary or higher education setting.
Proven expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical best practices for biology.
