Roles & Responsibilities
eaching & Instruction
Deliver lectures and practical lab sessions in Anesthesia Technology courses.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
Incorporate modern teaching methods (simulation labs, case studies, active learning).
Clinical Training & Supervision
Supervise student clinical rotations in hospitals, operating rooms, and anesthesia units.
Ensure students demonstrate safe, ethical, and evidence‑based practice.
Liaise with clinical partners to coordinate placements and evaluations.
Curriculum & Academic Development
Participate in curriculum design, review, and improvement.
Assist in accreditation processes and quality assurance activities.
Update course content based on current anesthesia standards and technologies.
Assessment & Evaluation
Design and grade exams, assignments, practical assessments, and OSCEs.
Provide formative feedback to support student growth.
Monitor and report student progress.
Research & Scholarship
Engage in research related to anesthesia technology and allied health sciences.
Publish findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
Encourage student participation in research activities.
Student Support & Mentoring
Advise and mentor students on academic, clinical, and career issues.
Support student projects, theses, and capstone work.
Administrative Duties
Attend departmental meetings and committees.
Participate in outreach, recruitment, and community engagement activities.
Maintain records and comply with institutional policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
MSc in Anesthesia Technology
Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, patient monitoring, and peri‑anesthesia care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and clinical partners
