Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex obstetric cases, providing expert clinical judgment and advanced diagnostic interpretation.
- Perform advanced obstetric surgical procedures, including complex Cesarean sections and emergency interventions.
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and maternal well-being.
- Educate and mentor junior medical staff, including residents and registrars, fostering their clinical development and surgical skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS/MRCOG/FRCOG or equivalent).
- Completion of advanced training programs and fellowships in subspecialties like Maternal-Fetal Medicine or Gynecologic Oncology is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of post-qualification experience in a consultant-level obstetric role within a reputable healthcare institution.
- Current and valid medical license and registration with the relevant national medical council, free from disciplinary actions.
