Roles & Responsibilities
Administer and manage main contracts, subcontracts, consultancy, and supplier agreements.
Handle claims, variations, change orders, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
Support procurement and commercial teams during subcontract negotiations.
Manage contractual disputes and coordinate with legal advisors when required.
Provide contractual guidance to project teams and senior management.
Ensure protection of the company's commercial interests throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or a related field.
15–20 years of experience in Contracts/Commercial Management within leading UAE/GCC building contracting companies.
Strong experience in managing claims, variations, EOTs, and dispute resolution.
Proven track record on high-rise buildings, villas, hospitals, and large-scale building projects.
In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices.
Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIArb, or equivalent will be an advantage.
