Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high-voltage protection and control systems, ensuring operational reliability and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults within protection relays, control circuits, and associated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct rigorous testing and calibration of protection schemes and equipment according to established standards and procedures.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to guide repair and modification activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of protection and control systems within the power utility or industrial sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in testing and commissioning of digital and electromechanical protection relays (e.g., SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens).
