Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Orthodontist role based at Bright Smile Medical Center in Sharjah. The Orthodontist will assess patients’ dental and facial conditions, diagnose orthodontic issues, and develop individualized treatment plans using braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic records (such as X-rays and photographs), monitoring treatment progress, and adjusting appliances as needed. The role involves educating patients and families on oral hygiene, treatment expectations, and care instructions, as well as collaborating with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive dental care. The Orthodontist is expected to maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to regulatory and safety standards, and participate in continuous professional development. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge and training in Orthodontics relevant to clinical dental practice. Candidates should possess advanced expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and appliance-based therapy. Candidates should possess skills in Treatment management, including case follow-up, clinical decision-making, and patient care coordination. Candidates should possess comprehensive Dental Care skills, with a focus on oral health education, preventive care, and collaboration with other dental professionals. Recognized dental degree (e.g. MDS or equivalent) and completed specialty training in Orthodontics; eligibility for relevant local licensing/registration in the UAE. Proficiency in clinical documentation, use of dental software, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and provide a positive patient experience. Prior experience as an Orthodontist in a clinic or hospital setting is highly beneficial; fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
