Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate manual/CNC lathe machines safely and efficiently.

• Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and other machining operations.

• Read and understand engineering drawings, measurements, and specifications.

• Set up machines, select proper tools, and adjust machine parameters.

• Inspect finished products using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Maintain accuracy and quality standards during production.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

• Meet production targets and complete jobs within deadlines.

Requirements:

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of materials science, enabling informed decisions regarding material selection and usage.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, highlighting a commitment to continuous improvement in fabrication processes.
• Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring that all aspects of fabrication meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
